Section 18 — Establishment of Board

What this section requires

Section 18 establishes the Data Protection Board of India as a body corporate — with perpetual succession, a common seal, and the power to hold property and sue or be sued in its own name — from a date the Central Government notifies. Its headquarters sit wherever the Central Government notifies.
